Therapy is a journey of remembering, reconnecting, and reclaiming. It’s like piecing together a puzzle—each session helping you make sense of your story, your emotions, and your relationships. In this space, you’re invited to slow down, breathe, and explore what’s been left unspoken or unresolved. Here, you can safely untangle the knots of pain, confusion, or self-doubt. Together, we’ll work toward building a more compassionate relationship with your thoughts, feelings, and the parts of you that have been carrying too much for too long. You’ll begin to uncover patterns, gain clarity, and step into a deeper sense of self-agency and wholeness.
“I have taken some part of you into me. It has changed and enriched me, and I shall pass it on to others.”
— Irvin Yalom, Staring at the Sun

About Me
I hold an MA and PhD in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and Indiana State University, where I received extensive training in multiculturalism and trauma-informed care. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings—including university counseling centers and community mental health agencies—supporting individuals from all walks of life. I am a certified EMDR therapist and an approved consultant of the EMDRIA.
My approach is integrative, weaving together humanistic-experiential, relational psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based practices, all grounded in a deep respect for multicultural identities and lived experiences. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, honoring the richness and complexity they bring into the therapeutic space. I’m drawn to the tender and often unspoken places where identity, emotion, and experience intersect—whether that’s navigating acculturation, healing from attachment wounds, working through trauma and dissociation, or exploring the relationship with one’s body, spirituality, or sense of self. These are not just clinical interests—they are human experiences I hold with care, curiosity, and compassion.
